The Collserola Funeral Home was the first to be constructed alongside a cemetery. It was inaugurated in 1987 with the idea of creating complete funerary premises, consisting in chapels of rest, cemetery, crematory and oratory. The number of chapels of rest at this funeral home was extended from the initial 12 to the current 22 chapels of rest. Years later, in 1992, a second oratory was inaugurated, with a capacity for 325 persons and with a series of extendable partitions that adapt the space to the number of people that are present.
