On January 23, 2008, Serveis Funeraris de Barcelona (SFB) and the Fundació Orfeó Català-Palau de la Música Catalana, signed a collaboration agreement by which SFB collaborates economically in activities carried out by the Foundation in order to promote and encourage all sorts of cultural activities, specially those related to music and helps to support projects and proposals of the Orfeó. The Manager Director of SFB, Eduard F. Vidal and, the representative on behalf of the Foundation, Enric Alvarez i  Vila, as secretary of the Orfeó Català, were the people in charge of signing the agreement.
